释义	【正字通】〈羖〉公虎切。音古。《爾雅》夏羊牡羭牝羖郭註夏羊黑羖䍽也。羭黑羝也。牝羖今人以牂羖為黑羊名。又《本草綱目》生秦晉者為夏羊頭小身大毛長土人翦其毛為氊謂之緜羊。據《爾雅》夏羊牝者名羭牝者名羖。《說文》夏羊牡曰羖疑牝譌為牡舊註沿《正韻》以羖為牡羊誤也。又《詩·小雅》賓筵由醉之言俾出童羖傳曰衞武公飮酒悔過而作童羖無角之羖羊必無之物醉而𡚶言將罰汝出童羖所以恐之也。或曰夷人譌呼羖為骨俗作𦍩牯。並非。
